Dog owner arrested for manslaughter in fatal April mauling
STOCKTON – A Stockton man is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge seven months after his dog fatally mauled a woman in his front yard, authorities said.
Brian Hrenko, 60, was arrested Thursday morning and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail, said Detective Dave Konecny, a spokesman for the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. Hrenko is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. today in San Joaquin County Superior Court.
